Drumsticks – You’ll need 12 chicken drumsticks for this recipe. I like using Smart Chicken’s drumsticks. The meat is juicy and tender. They come out perfectly every single time.
Avocado Oil – You’ll need two tablespoons avocado oil for this recipe.
Blackening Spice – Combine garlic powder, paprika, cumin, dried oregano, salt and black pepper in a mixing bowl.
Yogurt Ranch – Combine 0% Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, warm water, Dijon mustard, fresh squeezed lemon juice, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and freshly chopped chives. Mix until well combined. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.

How to Make Air Fryer Chicken Drumsticks
Make the Dressing
Combine 0% Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, warm water, Dijon mustard, fresh squeezed lemon juice, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and freshly chopped chives. Mix until well combined. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.
Make the Drumsticks
Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees.
Add the drumsticks to a mixing bowl. Toss them with the avocado oil followed by the spice blend. Make sure they are well coated. Spray the basket with olive oil cooking spray. Add 3-4 drumsticks at a time, making sure not to overcrowd the basket. Air fry for 20-25 minutes turning halfway. Larger drumsticks will most likely need closer to 25 minutes. You’ll want the internal temperature to reach 170 degrees to ensure doneness.
Assemble the Dish
Add the drumsticks to a serving dish. Top with chopped Italian parsley and serve with lemon wedges. Add the yogurt ranch on the side for dipping.
Storage
Store any extra drumsticks in an airtight container in the refrigerator for three to four days. Reheat in the microwave until warmed through.
