Ingredients Needed for Air Fryer Chicken Cordon Bleu
Chicken – You’ll need one pound or roughly two chicken breasts for this recipe. Be sure to butterfly the chicken into four thin cutlets. Add the cutlets to a sealable bag, and gently pound them until they are ¼-inch thick.
Dijon Mustard – Lightly brush one side of the cutlet with a thin coating of Dijon mustard. This adds a layer of flavor that’s hard to resist.
Seasoning – Lightly season the Dijon coated side of each cutlet with salt and black pepper. The salt and pepper will stick to the Dijon mustard.
Ham – You’ll need four slices of deli ham for this recipe. I used black forest ham, but you can use whatever ham you enjoy most.
Swiss Cheese – You’ll need four slices of Swiss cheese for this recipe.
Egg – You’ll need to whisk one large egg for this recipe. You’ll use the egg to coat the rolled-up chicken before running it through the breading station.
Breading – Combine Italian breadcrumbs and grated parmesan cheese in a mixing bowl. Mix until well combined. You’ll use this mixture for your breading.

Spray the inside of your air fryer basket with olive oil cooking spray. Add the breaded roll ups to the prepared basket. Spray the roll ups with more olive oil cooking spray. This will allow them to get golden brown in the air fryer. Be sure not to overcrowd the basket. You may need to air fry in batches.
Air fry for 12-13 minutes at 385 degrees. Thicker roll ups may need more time. Serve hot and enjoy.
