These air fryer lemon pepper wings are made from three simple ingredients. All you need is an air fryer, chicken wings, avocado oil and lemon pepper seasoning. That’s it!

These wings are healthier than traditional deep-fried wings but still taste just as amazing. The chicken gets perfectly crispy skin on the outside with the juiciest center. I was blown away by how perfect these wings came out.

Pro Tip for Perfect Wings

You can make homemade lemon pepper seasoning, but I used store-bought, and it tasted great. The brand I used was Lawry’s lemon pepper. Be sure to use avocado oil or grapeseed oil as they both have higher smoke points than olive oil and will not change the flavor of the wings like olive oil can.

Ingredients Needed for Air Fryer Lemon Pepper Wings

Chicken Wings – Be sure to grab Smart Chicken’s chicken wings. They worked perfectly in this recipe. You’ll need one pound. There will be 10-12 wings depending on size.

Oil – Be sure to use avocado oil for this recipe. Option to use grapeseed oil instead. Just try to NOT use olive oil. Olive oil will change the flavor of the wings.

Lemon Pepper Seasoning – I used store-bought Lawry’s lemon pepper seasoning, and it worked great. Option to make your own if you prefer.

How to Make Air Fryer Lemon Pepper Wings

Preheat your air fryer to 380 degrees for 4 minutes. Remove the chicken wings from the package and pat them dry with paper towel. Add the wings to a mixing bowl. Drizzle them with the avocado oil and lemon pepper seasoning. Toss until well coated.

Spray the preheated air fryer basket with non-stick spray. Add a layer of wings to the air fryer basket. Do not overlap. You may need to do batches based on the size of your air fryer.

Bake at 380 for 18-20 minutes flipping halfway through. Serve hot and enjoy.

Storage

Store leftover wings in. an airtight container in the refrigerator for three to four days. Reheat leftover wings in the microwave. Looking for more recipes?
