Single Serving Cinnamon Apple Baked Oats
This single serving cinnamon apple baked oats is the perfect way to start your day! Loaded with healthy ingredients, you’re going to LOVE this satisfying breakfast recipe.
The apples are lightly sautéed in a delicious cinnamon glaze then layered inside of the oat batter. Baked to golden brown perfection, these oats are light, fluffy, and moist. This recipe is so good, you’ll feel like you’re having dessert for breakfast!
Ingredients Needed for Single Serving Cinnamon Apple Baked Oats
Sauteed Apples – This recipe calls for diced green and honey crisp apple. You will only need ¼ cup total, so I used two tablespoons of each. The apples are then tossed with fresh squeezed lemon juice, cane sugar, ap flour, cinnamon, and vanilla. Once well coated, they are sauteed in a hot pan with butter until tender.
Baked Oats – This recipe calls for rolled oats, one egg, sweetened cinnamon applesauce, cinnamon, baking powder, salt, 2% milk and maple syrup. Add to a blender and buzz until well combined.
Cinnamon Sugar – I like to add a dusting of cinnamon sugar before adding the apple layer and again as a garnish on top of the baked oats before baking.
How to Make Single Serving Cinnamon Apple Baked Oats
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Make the Apples
Add the diced apples to a small mixing bowl. Toss with fresh squeezed lemon juice, cane sugar, ap flour, cinnamon, and vanilla until well coated. Heat a small non-stick skillet over medium high heat. Add the butter and the apples. Once the apples are tender and have formed a sticky glaze, remove them from the heat.
Blend the Oat Batter
Combine rolled oats, one egg, sweetened cinnamon applesauce, cinnamon, baking powder, salt, 2% milk and maple syrup. Blend until well combined.
Assemble the Dish
Spray a 4-inch wide by 2.5-inch-tall ramekin with non-stick or olive oil cooking spray. Pour in half of the batter. Add a light dusting of cinnamon sugar, then add the sautéed apples. Pour the remaining batter over the top. Add another light layer of cinnamon sugar.
Bake for 26-28 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Remove from the oven and enjoy warm.

This is the perfect fall breakfast! I’d like to make more than a single serving though. What’s the best way to multiply the recipe?
I haven’t tested it. If you give it a try, be sure not to use too much egg.
