Strawberry Lemon Infused Iced Tea – Healthyish Foods

The lemon is bright and flavorful, while the strawberries and honey offer a hint of sweetness. The rosemary adds a huge pop of flavor too. Please keep in mind that you can use basil or mint if you prefer. Finally, the hint of black pepper offers a depth of flavor that’s addictive. Black Peppercorns – you’ll need 15-20 black peppercorns for this recipe.

Fruit – You’ll need freshly wash and sliced strawberries and lemon for this recipe.

Herbs- I used fresh rosemary for this recipe but you can use fresh basil or mint of you prefer.

Honey – For a touch of sweetness add a drizzle of honey.

Tea Bags – For this recipe, I used Art of Tea’s English Breakfast tea bags, and it was very flavorful. Explore all my favorite tea bags by clicking here.

Hot Water – This is the 27-ounce Tea Bloom tea pot and kettle, so you’ll need 2-3 cups of boiling water. If you’re using the 40-ounce pot, you’ll need 3-4 cups.

How to Make Strawberry Lemon Infused Iced Tea

Boil a pot of water. Grab your 27-ounce Tea Bloom tea pot and kettle, add the black peppercorns, sliced fresh strawberries, sliced lemons, fresh rosemary, drizzle of honey, and 1-2 English Breakfast tea bags.

Pour 2-3 cups of boiling water over the ingredients, then seal the lid. Steep for 5-10 minutes. Enjoy warm or over ice for a refreshing iced tea.

Storage

Best enjoyed after steeping. However, leftover tea can be strained and stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 1-2 days.

  • 1 Tea Bloom tea kettle and pot they come in 27 and 40 ounce sizes

Ingredients

  • 15-20 black peppercorns
  • 1 cup strawberries, remove tops, slice
  • 1 lemon, remove ends, slice
  • 1-2 sprigs fresh rosemary, basil or mint work too
  • 2 teaspoons honey, depending on preferred sweetness
  • 1-2 tea bags, English Breakfast, depending on preferred strength
  • 2-3 cups boiling water
