If you’re anything like me, drinking water throughout the day isn’t always top of mind. And for some reason, water alone just isn’t that appealing in the large amounts needed to stay properly hydrated. That’s why I made this Healthyish Digestion Tea recipe.

This Healthyish digestion tea is the perfect way to promote healthy digestion and stay hydrated throughout the day minus all the refined sugar that can be hidden in other beverages.

Loaded with black peppercorns, fresh sliced ginger, sliced lemon, fresh mint, honey and two green tea bags, this simple yet refreshing combination is packed with flavor.

What You’ll Need to Make Healthyish Digestion Tea

Black Peppercorns – You’ll need 10-20 black peppercorns based on your preferred spice level.

Ginger – You’ll need a knob of fresh ginger. Three to four thick slices will do the trick. Just be sure to wash your ginger well before using it.

Lemon – I used one medium sized lemon for this recipe. This yielded about four thick slices. But you can adjust as needed. Be sure to wash your lemon well before using it!

Mint – A handful of fresh mint works perfectly. Again, wash and dry your mint before using it.

Honey – Two teaspoons of honey adds a touch of sweetness to this infused tea. You can add as much as you like.

Green Tea Bags – I love Numi, Art of Tea and Tazo green tea bags. Click here to shop these high-quality organic teas. You’ll need two tea bags to yield 2-3 cups of tea depending on preferred strength level.

Teabloom Tea Pot and Kettle – This Teabloom tea pot and kettle is literally perfect for my infused teas. It comes in two sizes 27 and 40 ounces. I used the 27-ounce for this recipe and it made about 2-3 cups of tea. Perfect for one. I also ordered the 40-ounce pot which I imagine is great for families. Grab one by clicking here.

Boiling Water – You’ll need about 3 cups of boiling water so the tea can steep and infuse with the herbs and fruit.
