Step 1: Preheat the air fryer to 375 degrees. Wash, dry and trim the green beans.
Step 2: Add the green beans to a mixing bowl and toss them with the avocado oil, kosher salt and cracked black pepper until well coated.
Step 3: Spray the air fryer basket with avocado oil spray and add the green beans. Air fry for 8-9 minutes. Shake them halfway through cooking.
Step 4: Also, add the sliced almonds 3 minutes before the beans are finished cooking. This will allow the almonds warm and lightly brown.
For a slightly crispy green bean cook for 8 minutes for softer green beans cook for 9 minutes.
Step 5: Remove from the air fryer and add the cooked beans to a bowl.
Step 6: Add the butter, lemon zest, lemon juice. Toss until the butter is melted. Serve hot and enjoy.
