Ingredients Needed for Peanut Butter Granola Protein Bars

Peanut Butter – You’ll need creamy peanut butter for this recipe. I used Skippy, which is rather thick, so I gently warmed it in the microwave for a few seconds before adding it to the mixing bowl. This just makes a thick peanut butter like Skippy or JIF easier to work with.

Peanut Butter Powder – Yes you read that right! It a new-ish product that I came across and fell in love with. I like using this instead of flour because it has WAY less carbs than flour. Plus, it tastes great. Check out the brand I use here. PB powder

Ground Flax Seeds – You’ll need a ¼ cup of ground flax seeds for this recipe. Ground flax has a nutty flavor which goes great in this recipe. Plus, it promotes healthy digestion.

Protein Powder – You can use plain or vanilla protein powder for this recipe. I used Vega plant based protein powder in vanilla flavor. I haven’t tested any other protein powder with this recipe.

Honey – You’ll need two to three tablespoons of honey for this recipe. The honey is a natural sweetener which tastes great.

Granola – For this recipe, you’ll need chocolate chunk granola. You can use any granola you enjoy most, but I used the chocolate chunk by Open Nature.

Dark Chocolate – You’ll need about a half cup of melted dark chocolate for this recipe. I used Ghirardelli dark melting wafers which works perfectly.

Se Salt – Add a touch of Maldon Sea Salt over the melted chocolate. The salt takes this recipe to the next level.
