Creamy Chilled Shrimp Salad

Ingredients Needed for Creamy Chilled Shrimp Salad
Shrimp – This recipe calls for one pound of cooked shrimp. Be sure to peel and devein the shrimp. You’ll also want to remove the tail for easy eating. I used precooked frozen store-bought shrimp. To thaw the shrimp simply place the bag in the refrigerator overnight.
Dressing – Combine 0% Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, light sour cream, white wine vinegar, fresh squeezed lemon juice, Dijon mustard, salt, pepper, fresh tarragon and fresh dill. Whisk until well combined.
Vegetables – This recipe calls for diced celery and diced red onion.
How to Make Creamy Chilled Shrimp Salad
Make the Dressing
In a large mixing bowl, combine 0% Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, light sour cream, white wine vinegar, fresh squeezed lemon juice, Dijon mustard, salt, pepper, fresh tarragon and fresh dill. Whisk until well combined.
Prepare the Shrimp
Thaw the precooked shrimp overnight in the refrigerator. Make sure they are peeled, deveined and that the tails have been removed. Pat dry with a paper towel.
Assemble the Dish
Add the diced celery and red onion to the bowl with the dressing. Next, add the prepared shrimp. Toss until well combined. Serve chilled.
Storage
Store leftover shrimp salad in an airtight container in the refrigerator for two to three days. Enjoy this shrimp salad on a sandwich, tucked in lettuces cups or you can enjoy it as a dip.

I made this for lunch today and the only thing I did differently is I cut the shrimp up a bit. I had it in a hoagie bun kind of like a po boy style sandwich. It was great. Thanks for an easy recipe. The dill tasted amazing in this.
