This air fryer Philadelphia roll salmon bowl comes together in under 20 minutes and tastes amazing! This recipe includes everything you love about traditional Philadelphia sushi rolls, but delivered in bowl form.
The salmon is moist and flaky which tastes great with the creamy sauce baked on top. Paired with fresh vegetables and herbs, this quick high protein meal is a weeknight win!
Ingredients Needed for Air Fryer Philadelphia Roll Salmon Bowl
Salmon – You’ll need two, 6–7-ounce fillets of salmon for this recipe. Skin on is best as it helps lock in the juices. You can simply remove the skin once it’s cooked to your liking. Be sure to pat the salmon dry with a paper towel before seasoning it with a pinch of salt.
Philadelphia Roll Sauce – Combine regular or whipped cream cheese, mayonnaise, sriracha and low sodium soy sauce. Mix well.
Rice – You’ll want about one cup of cooked rice to split between the two bowls. You can use whatever rice you enjoy most.
Garnishes – Serve with freshly chopped scallions, sesame seeds, cucumber, avocado, finely diced jalapeno and cilantro.
How to Make Air Fryer Philadelphia Roll Salmon
Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees.
Mix the cream cheese, mayonnaise, sriracha and low sodium soy sauce in a small bowl. Set aside.
Pat the salmon dry with a paper towel and season it with a pinch of salt. Leave the skin on. Spray the inside of the air fryer basket with avocado oil cooking spray.
Add the salmon (skin side down) to the air fryer and cook for 5 minutes at 400 degrees. Open the air fryer and brush the salmon with the cream cheese mixture. Make sure to add a thick layer of the sauce. Do not skimp. Close the air fryer and finish cooking for another 5-6 minutes at 400 degrees.
Your salmon will need to cook for 10-11 minutes total. 10 minutes will yield a medium temperature and 11 minutes will yield a medium-well temperature. Cooking time will vary slightly based on your air fryer and the thickness of the salmon.
Carefully remove the salmon from the air fryer using a fish spatula. (Option to remove the skin) Assemble the bowls and enjoy.
**Please note** The nutritional information below reflects the salmon with the Philadelphia style sauce. It does not reflect the other bowl ingredients.
