The flavors in this recipe are a fun riff off Mississippi Roast. If you’re not familiar with Mississippi Roast, it is a slow cooked chuck roast with pepperoncini’s, brown gravy and ranch seasoning. Feel free to dip my flatbread version in some ranch dressing to get the full experience.

About This Recipe
Start by prepping Delallo’s easy to make homemade pizza dough kit. Their Pizza Dough Kit comes fully equipped with perfectly portioned 00 flour and yeast. All you have to do is add lukewarm water and knead. The dough is ready in 45 minutes. Easy peasy!
From there, roll out the homemade pizza dough. I like a thinner crust, so I portioned my dough into four evenly sized balls and rolled out one ball to make one pizza. Add the flatbread to a prepared baking tray. Brush the top of the prepared dough with Delallo Garlic Parmesan Dipping Oil, making sure to brush the edges.
Then, add a layer of shredded cheese. I used a mozzarella provolone blend. Next, you’ll add some of the leftover marry me chuck roast, followed by Delallo Mild Pepperoncini’s and Delallo roughly chopped Mild Giardiniera. Bake to golden brown perfection then top with a drizzle of Delallo’s NEW Castelvetrano Extra Virgin Olive Oil in a Squeeze Bottle, freshly chopped Italian parsley and a few turns of cracked black pepper. Serve hot and enjoy!
** Please note** each Pizza Dough Kit can make FOUR, 10-inch thin crust pizzas. The ingredients listed below are for ONE flatbread pizza. Extra dough can be stored in a sealable bag or airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Best used between 1-3 days.

Ingredients Needed for Giardiniera Pepperoncini Chuck Roast Flatbread
Pizza Dough Kit – You’ll need one Delallo pizza dough kit. Each kit makes enough dough for FOUR, 10-inch thin crust pizzas. Make the dough according to the package. The ingredients below are for one flatbread.
Garlic Parmesan Dipping Oil – Brush the top of your pizza dough with a thin layer of Delallo’s garlic parmesan dipping oil. It adds a layer of flavor that’s hard to resist.
Cheese- You’ll need shredded cheese for this recipe. I used a blend of mozzarella and provolone. It was delicious.
Mild Pepperoncini – You’ll need six Delallo mild pepperoncini per flatbread for this recipe. I made one flatbread at a time, so I used six total.
Mild Giardiniera – Each flatbread calls for two tablespoons of roughly chopped Delallo mild giardiniera. I made one flatbread and reserved the rest of the dough for another time.
Garnishes – Remove the flatbread from the oven and add a few turns of freshly cracked black pepper and freshly chopped parsley.
Olive Oil – Drizzle the cooked flatbread pizza with Delallo’s NEW Castelvetrano Extra Virgin Olive Oil in a Squeeze Bottle. Serve hot and enjoy!
