Calling all my bean girlies! This One Pan Marry Me Butter Bean and Sausage Dip is so good you might not want to share. It’s as if my delicious Marry Me Ditalini Sausage Pasta and greens and beans had a baby. It’s so good! Serve it up with a loaf of crusty bread and enjoy.
Add avocado oil to a sauté pan. Once hot add the ground Italian sausage. Brown the sausage in the pan breaking it down into smaller pieces using a spatula. Next, add the diced onion and minced garlic. Sauté until tender. Season with a pinch of kosher salt and cracked black pepper.
Next, add the tomato paste. Make sure everything is well covered in the tomato paste. Once the tomato paste has slightly caramelized, deglaze the pan with low sodium chicken broth. Scrape up any crispy bits from the bottom of the pan. Reduce the broth by half.
Then, add the rinsed and drained butter beans. Pour in the heavy cream and gently stir to combine. Once the cream is warm add the grated parmesan cheese. Reduce the heat and stir until the cheese is fully incorporated into the sauce. Option to add a pinch of red pepper flakes for spice. Once the sauce has reduced to your liking, top with chopped Italian parsley and enjoy.
