Easy Cheesy Bread

This three-ingredient, easy cheesy bread recipe is borderline addicting. The cheesy bread is perfect for dipping into soup or as the base for a loaded breakfast sandwich.

Ingredients

  • 1 sweet dinner roll, King's Hawaiian
  • 1 tablespoon butter, divided
  • 2 tablespoons shredded mozzarella cheese , divided

Equipment

  • 1 non-stick skillet

Instructions 

  • Heat a small non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  • Butter the inside of the roll with a thin layer of butter.
  • Place both sides of the roll in the hot pan, buttered side down. Fry until golden brown and remove from the pan.
  • Next, in the same pan, add 1-2 tablespoons of shredded cheese.
  • As it begins to melt, place the roll toasted side down on the hot cheese. (one side at a time) Gently press the roll into the cheese so it adheres. Repeat for the second side.
  • Once the cheese is crispy remove the roll from the pan. Repeat for all rolls.
  • Enjoy hot.
