Shrimp Pasta with Spicy Vodka Sauce

This shrimp pasta with spicy vodka sauce is easy to make and perfect any night of the week. This recipe comes together in under 30 minutes and tastes like it came straight from a restaurant.

Ingredients

Equipment

  • 1 pasta pot
  • 1 colander
  • 1 sauce pot
  • 1 saute pan

Instructions 

  • Boil a pot of water and cook the shellbow pasta according to the package. Al dente is best.
  • Drain off the water using a colander and set the pasta aside.
  • Next, heat olive oil in a sauté pan over medium high heat.
  • Add the peeled and deveined shrimp. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Sauté for 1-2 minutes per side. Remove the shrimp from the heat. Set aside.
  • Next, add the spicy vodka sauce to a large sauce pot. Heat until it’s warmed through.
  • Once the sauce is warmed, add the cooked pasta and shrimp. Toss until everything is well coated. Season with a touch of salt and cracked black pepper.
  • Top with grated parmesan cheese, chopped Italian parsley and serve hot.
