Ingredients Needed for Shaved Cabbage Salad with Tahini Dressing

Green Cabbage – For this recipe, you’ll need ½ a head of green cabbage. You can use a mandolin to shave it thin, or you can use a sharp knife. You’ll need 2-3 cups of shaved cabbage.

Tahini Dressing – Combine tahini, olive oil, honey, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, salt and warm water. Mix well. For a thinner dressing use a touch more water. Make sure the tahini is well combined before you add it to the mixing bowl.

Sesame Seeds – Garnish the dish with white sesame seeds.

How to Make Shaved Cabbage Salad with Tahini Dressing

Thinly shave about a ½ head of raw green cabbage, add it to a bowl.

In a small mixing bowl, combine tahini, olive oil, honey, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, salt and warm water. Whisk until well combined.

Pour the dressing over the shaved cabbage. Top with sesame seeds and enjoy.
